This Thursday, FCA will be having a meeting in Mr. Braker’s room #3007 for our second meeting of the year.  We’ll have a little fun and discuss our goals for the year.  The meeting starts at 6:45 or whenever you can get here from the buses.  Come be the change you want to see at HHS!

On Friday night the Hampshire football team played the #2 ranked 6A team in the state, Cary-Grove. After the first quarter of play the score was 6-0 and the Whips were playing tough and right in the game.  In the 2nd half Hampshire came out and forced a fumble on the opening kickoff and quickly turned Cary-Grove’s mistake into 7 points with a TD pass from Drew Dalby to Nic Rummell.  Later in the quarter Zane Sheetz picked up a fumble forced by Gio Chapel and scampered for an 85 yard touchdown return.  In the end the Cary-Grove ground game was too much and the Whips were defeated.  Despite the loss, the Varsity football team fought the entire game and played extremely hard.  Come out to Huntley High School this Friday to support our Whips, game starts at 7:00 pm.

The PBIS team is challenging the whole school to decrease their tardies in the month of September!  Last year we had 2,811 tardies from September 1st to September 30th so if our students accumulate LESS than that the whole school will get a reward!  We will be giving updates as the month goes on – but keep this challenge in mind and be on time!
