The debate team participated in their fourth tournament this past weekend. Best speaker nominations went to Steven Frankowski, Hannah Garcia, and Sydney Ludvigsen. Damian Hacz is the first student in Hampshire High School history to win best Presiding Officer. Great job, debaters!

Final Exams Info

Whips, please remember these rules for finals!

  • You may leave after your last exam on each day.  We are NOT an open campus, so there is no coming & going.
  • If you have lunch 4th period, you may arrive late on Wednesday.
  • If you have lunch 5th, 6th or 7th, you may leave AFTER your last exam on those days.
  • If your 1st, 4th or 9th period class is an ASP, you may arrive late as long as your parent has given you a note permitting you to arrive late and you have your own transportation.  The note must be turned into the attendance office or your absence will be unexcused.
  • If your 5th, 6th or 7th period class is an ASP, you may leave after your last exam as long as your parent has given you a note permitting you to leave early and you have your own transportation.  This note must be turned into the attendance office, or your absence will be unexcused.
  • If your ASP is 2nd, 3rd, or 8th period, you will attend that class and use it as a study period, unless you are already leaving early or arriving late.
  • You MUST report to ALL classes whether or not you have taken your final, otherwise your absence will be coded as unexcused.

Student Services

One more day till finals!  Tip #3:  Eat well and get a good night sleep.  Take care of yourself during exam week.  You’re going through a lot of stress.  Make sure you hold up well.  Meditation, mindfulness, grounding and breathing activities will help calm your body.  There are several free apps that you can download to guide you through these healthy activities.  Good luck on your finals!!

Toy Drive

During the basketball games on Friday, December 22nd, Hampshire High School will be collecting toys for children for the Hampshire Police Department Adopt-a-Family. Please bring such things as: Legos for all ages, plastic animals, dolls, Barbies, Super Heroes, Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars, and Arts and Crafts materials.
