Bowl-a-thon

Attention Football Players, Cheerleaders, and Dance Team Members, this is the last week to gain sponsors for our Bowl-A-Thon coming up on Sunday, April 9th from 11:30 – 1:30 at Glo-Bowl in Marengo.  Coach Brasile needs to have the names of all participants who are going to bowl by Thursday, April 6th. Email him at Michael.brasile@d300.org or see him personally. 

Hampshire Fire Academy

Attention students interested in a career such as firefighter, EMT, police office, or the military. The Hampshire Fire Department is holding a two-day field trip providing approved students an experience including firefighter duties, paramedic drills, and training exercises.  Many of the activities are highly physical ~ search, rescue, and emergency medical tasks. Be prepared to get sweaty and involved. The Hampshire Fire Academy will take place on April 13th and 14th.  If you are interested please put your name on the signup sheet in Student Services. Do not delay. Sign up in Student Services today. See Mr. Lis if you have questions.

NHS

NHS members: We will have our next MORNING meeting on Tuesday, April 11th. The AFTERNOON meeting will be held on Thursday, April 13th. Both meetings will be held in room 1202. Please remember to bring your postcards for Send Kids the World! See you at one of the meetings!

PBIS Raffle

Prom is right around the corner and PBIS is raffling off 2 Prom tickets!  All you need to do to enter is to add one Purple Pay to the Prom Ticket Raffle box in Student Services!  Make sure your name is on your Purple Pay.  You may enter as many times as you would like!  The drawing will be on Friday, April 7th.  If you purchase tickets ahead of time, we will reimburse you if you are the lucky winner!!

We are also raffling an iPad mini!!  You may enter by adding one purple pay to the iPad mini raffle box located in Student Services.  Make sure you clearly write your name on each purple pay you add to the box and that it is signed by a teacher.  The teacher who issued the winning purple pay will also receive an iPad mini!  You may enter as many times as you would like.  The winner will be announced at the last pep assembly of the year.  Good luck!!!

PE Lost & Found

All items in PE lost and found must be claimed this week or they will be thrown away after school on Friday, April 7 (this Friday). See your P.E. teacher to check the lost and found bags.

PROM

PROM 2017! Tickets are on sale! Tickets are $75 and will be sold until Thursday, April 6th at 11:59PM. You can choose a table Thursday, April 6th and Friday April 7th during 5th, 6th, and 7th period lunches. FRIDAY WILL BE THE LAST DAY TO SELECT A TABLE! Check out the PROM WALL on the 2nd floor and 3rd floor stairwell for more information. See Mrs. Hopley in room 1107 and Mrs. Cherry in room 3010 with any questions.  Also, students wanting to opt out of post-prom need to pick up the parent waiver during lunches when you sign up for your prom tables. 

RFL

Attention ALL RELAY FOR LIFE PARTICIPANTS!  We will have a meeting for Team Captains in the library during all lunch hours TODAY.  We have a BUNCH of info to give you to pass on to your teams, so PLEASE COME!  Again, all TEAM CAPTAINS need to meet in the library during lunch hours on Thursday! See you then! If you haven’t signed up to participate in Relay for Life, there is still time!  It only costs 10 bucks to get in the door, and if you raise $100, you can stay for the whole night! We will even have transportation to get you there and back ~ you don’t want to miss it!  See Mrs. Weber in the library for more information!

Senior Class Photo

Attention Seniors!  The Senior Class photo has been rescheduled from this Friday to Friday, April 21st.  Please report to the main gym at the beginning of 3rd period on the 21st

MIRANDA!  Did you have Mrs. Wallenberger-Corcelles as a teacher (Liberty, Meadowdale, or Neubert Elementary) or Mrs. Miranda as a librarian/media specialist (Dundee Highlands, Golfview, Hampshire, Liberty, Parkview, or Sleepy Hollow Elementary)?  In honor of their upcoming retirements, please consider writing a note of thanks, sharing a special memory or offering your appreciation.  Email to ara1228@yahoo.com or drop off/send to Retirement Memory, c/o Liberty Elementary School, 6500 Miller Road, Carpentersville, 60110.  Notes are due by April 21st.
