Art Club

The Art Club will meet today after school until 4PM in room 1608. See you there!


Boys Basketball

Last night, as a program, the boys’ basketball team went 4-0 against Huntley High School with Varsity securing the SWEEP!!!  The freshmen A team won 39-36, bringing their overall record to 9-3.  The Freshmen B team won 41-28 keeping their record undefeated at 5-0.  The sophomores beat the Red Raiders 57-49. Their record stands at 9-2 with a conference record of 4-1.  Big contributions came from Nick Erickson, Jeremy Rosa, and Jackson Milison. The varsity team pulled out a thrilling 62-61 overtime win.  Their overall record sits at 4-9.  Come out and support the Whips tonight as they play Burlington Central at BC tonight!  Go WHIPS!


Dance Team

Congratulations to the HHS JV Dance Team for placing 7th at the FVC Conference last night! Their last competition is this weekend at Palatine, so come out and support the girls! They perform at 9:30am!

Congratulations also go out to the Varsity Dance Team for their 4th place finish at the FVC Conference last night! The girls beat out several other schools, including the other D300 dance teams and increased their score by a little more than 2 points! Thank you so much to the Varsity Cheer Team, Dr. Bending, our friends, and family for coming out to Huntley last night! It means the world to us! The girls are looking forward to performing at Palatine at 12:10 on Saturday and would love the support from the Whippur fans!


Football Players

Attention all football players for the 2018 season, there will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday, January 17th in the Lecture Hall at 7:10 am.  Please see Coach Brasile in Room 3004 if you can’t attend.  If you don’t attend or see Coach Brasile we will assume you aren’t playing football next year and we will remove you from the roster. 


Girls Golf

Attention all girls’ golf team members:  How are your raffle ticket sales going?  Coach Ellett needs your ticket stubs and money by the end of January.  Please sell as many of your tickets as possible and bring the stubs and money to Mrs. Ellett by January 31st.  Tickets are just $5.00 with an opportunity to win 4 rounds of golf and carts at Randall Oaks Golf Club….the value of the prize is $220. 


Hampshire Police Explorers

The next Hampshire Police Explorers meeting will be on Monday, January 15th, at 3PM at the Hampshire Police Department.  Those interested are encouraged to attend.


Math Team

Math team meeting at 3:05pm followed by practice.  We will handout permission slips and discuss the FVC meet. 


PBIS Raffle

Hey Whips!  Get out your Purple Pay because it’s time for the PBIS January Raffle!  This month, we will be raffling off a $25.00 Amazon gift card!  To enter, put 1 purple pay into the PBIS raffle box located in the Commons.  Make sure it is signed by a teacher and that you put your name on it.  You may enter as many times as you would like.  The winner will be drawn on January 31st.


Relay for Life

Attention Relay for Life Committee Members! We will be meeting tomorrow morning in the library! See you before school in the library!


Girls Soccer

Girls Soccer conditioning will start Tuesday January 16th at 3:15PM in the weight room. Contact Coach Brice if you have any questions.



Anyone interested in attending Softball open gyms - schedules are available to pick up in the athletic office.  Please pick one up at your earliest convenience.  Our first open gym is today from 7:30 - 9 PM.  See Coach Wasilewski with questions.  Also, any softball players attending the Spring Trip to Tennessee, there will be a mandatory meeting immediately after school in the main gym.  The meeting will only take a couple minutes, so you won't miss your bus!  If you cannot attend, please see Coach Wasilewski ASAP!
