Hampshire High School is directly aligned to District 300’s central mission: to provide engaging and inclusive educational experiences that empower and equip all students to discover, innovate, and succeed now and in the future.
Hampshire High School is located in Hampshire, Illinois, a northwest Chicago suburb in southern Kane County. Our school is approximately 4.5 miles west of the Interstate 90 and Route 47 interchange. Hampshire has a population of 23,301, according to the United States Census.
Our primary feeder pattern schools are Big Timber Elementary, Gilberts Elementary, Hampshire Elementary, Liberty Elementary, Sleepy Hollow Elementary, Wright Elementary, Dundee Middle School, and Hampshire Middle School. In the 2025-26 school year, Hampshire High School served 2,139 students from the communities of Carpentersville, Gilberts, Hampshire, a portion of Huntley, Pingree Grove, and Sleepy Hollow. From Randall Road, turn west onto Route 72. Turn north onto Route 47. Turn west onto Big Timber Road. Continue past Route 20, turning onto Ketchum Road. The school is on the southwest corner of Big Timber and Ketchum on the far south of the campus next to Wright Elementary School.
