Welcome to another exciting year at Hampshire High School! We are proud of our tradition of excellence and even more excited about where we are headed. Guided by our vision—Every Learner. Every Voice. Every Day.— we are committed to creating a school environment where every student feels safe, connected, challenged, and supported.

This year, we are taking important steps to strengthen our school climate by focusing on on-time arrival to classes and attendance, student identification checks upon entry, and the implementation of the Yondr Pouch program to create more focused and engaging learning environments. We are also intentionally strengthening student organization through AVID's WICOR framework by providing planners and teaching students organizational strategies that help them better manage their time, resources, and academic assignments. Finally, and most importantly to me, we will continue to promote our B's-or-Better Standard, encouraging every student to strive for high levels of achievement and personal responsibility. Whichever path students choose, we will continue to encourage them to avoid or quickly remedy any Cs, Ds, or failing grades before grades are finalized each quarter.

I want to be honest: the start of this year may feel a little different. It may feel a little tighter. But meaningful growth often requires new routines, consistent expectations, and a shared commitment to doing what is best for students. These efforts are not about adding restrictions; they are about creating the conditions where students can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

I believe in our students, our staff, and our families. Together, we can continue to make Hampshire High School not only a great school but an even better one.
