Finals Days Attendance

Dear HHS Families and Students,

As we approach the end of the first semester, please review the following details about finals week.

Semester 1 Final Exam Schedule:

• Day 1: Wednesday, December 17th – Class periods 1, 2, and 5
• Day 2: Thursday, December 18th – Class periods 4, 3, and 6
• Day 3: Friday, December 19th – Class periods 9, 8, and 7

Attendance Expectations:

• Students are expected to attend class even if no final exam is given. Hampshire High School is not an open campus, meaning students are not allowed to leave and return for their next final. Students must remain in their classroom for the full 80 minutes of each exam.  There are no call outs.
• Students who have lunch scheduled as their first or last final of the day may arrive late or leave early without requiring parent contact.
• Students with an ASP class scheduled as their first or last final of the day may arrive late or leave early with parental permission and their own transportation. Please call the attendance line at 847-792-3600 in advance to notify us if your student will arrive late or leave early due to an ASP class.
• Students should not be called out of an academic class where a final is being administered. They must stay for the entire duration of the class period.
